The Fifth Season |
The Fifth Season offers the finest mountaineering gear for sale and rent. Our selection includes a wide variety of equipment for day hikes and backpacking as well as gear for the serious climber and mountaineer. You'll find our gear clean and of current designs to let you enjoy your trip rather than worry about your gear. We encourage you to reserve your gear ahead of time by calling 530 926-3606 or faxing 530 926-1337 with your reservation. Be sure to include the dates you'll be picking your gear up and returning it. Also include boot size in either men's or women's sizing as well as shoe width. If you are reserving sleeping bags or tents, include your height as we have different size bags and tents. Not all boots are crampon compatible! Check with us to be sure your boots will work. Generally light day-hikers and hiking boots are too soft. Boots must have a stiff sole and full grain, leather uppers and block heel. Thanks for considering The Fifth Season for your climbing and backpacking needs. The prices listed below are Summer 2006.
